We got an inside look at what it’s like on the first day for new cadets at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Over 1,200 cadet candidates arrived on campus on a sweltering July morning for “Reception Day.” After an emotional farewell with their families, the new cadets took the first steps of a rigorous six-weeks-long basic training regimen.
